Nicole Ross came to Ohio Wesleyan from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, where she spent 4 seasons as head coach. She led the Corsairs to 3 Little East Conference tournament appearances, and recorded the team's first-ever conference tournament victory.
Prior to taking the UMass-Dartmouth position, Ross spent 2 seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Springfield College. She helped lead the Pride to a pair of New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference tournament championship game appearances, one NEWMAC tournament title, and an NCAA Division III playoff appearance. She continued her education by earning a master's degree in physical education.
Ross is a graduate of Springfield College, majoring in movement and sports studies. She was a 3-time all-conference selection for the Pride, also receiving NSCAA all-region honors and serving as a team captain for 2 years. She finished second on the school's single-season points (39) list and third on the single-season goals (16) list and received the school's Female Senior Athletic Award.
Becca Madison OWU Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach
Becca Madison begins her second season in 2017 as an assistant women's soccer coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Madison returns to Ohio Wesleyan after serving as the Soccer Program Director at the Berkshire Sports Academy (Calif). Prior to her position with Berkshire, Madison was an assistant coach at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN for one year and spent 2 seasons as a graduate assistant at Smith College, including a stint as the Pioneers' interim head coach. She also has youth coaching experience with Encinitas Express (Calif.), the Berkshire Soccer Academy (Mass.), Arlington Soccer Academy (Tenn.), and Classics Eagles (Ohio). In 2015, Madison was selected for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America “30 Under 30”, which is a program designed for young coaches who want to lead the way in developing soccer players and enhancing the game.
Madison is a 2012 Ohio Wesleyan graduate. During her Battling Bishop playing career, she was a 3-time, first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection. As a senior, she helped the Bishops to an NCAC co-championship and an NCAA Division III playoff appearance. She majored in health and human kinetics at Ohio Wesleyan and continued her education by earning a master's degree in exercise and sports studies from Smith.
Ali Gary OWU Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach
Ali Gary begins her second season in 2017 as an assistant women's soccer coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Gary comes to Ohio Wesleyan after spending the past 8 years coaching for various youth clubs in the Central Ohio area, most recently for Columbus Crew SC.
Gary is a 2008 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan, where she received her B.A. in management economics. She was a 4-year starter at goalkeeper for the Battling Bishop soccer team, helping the Bishops win 2 North Coast Athletic Conference tournaments and make 2 NCAA Division III tournament appearances. She led the NCAC in saves percentage in 2004 and was an honorable mention all-conference selection in 2005. She continued her education by earning a master's of business administration degree from Ohio Dominican University.
